What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain SCI directives, manuals, and regulatory guidance to ensure full compliance with SSO responsibilities.

  • Provide guidance on SCI eligibility and position requirements.
  • Process derogatory information and assist commanders with Security Information Files.
  • Support physical security for current and future SCIFs, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 and all applicable directives.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain SCIF accreditation documentation, including fixed facility checklists.
  • Ensure annual self‑inspections are conducted for all SCIFs under organizational cognizance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance on Day 1 (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree and 6+ years (additional experience may substitute for degree).
  • Minimum 4 years of full‑time SCI security experience across personnel, physical, information, and basic IA disciplines.
  • Ability to operate independently in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Knowledge of ICD 704, ICD 705, DoDM 5105.21 (Vol. 1–3), and relevant DNI, DIA, and USAF security directives.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, assess risk, develop mitigation strategies, and solve complex security challenges.
  • SAP experience required.

Highly Desired

  • Completion of formal SSO certification training within the last five years.
  • Completion of a SCIF physical security course within the last five years.
