Cross Asset Futures and Options Sales Trader, Assistant Vice President or Vice President

Citi is seeking an Assistant Vice President or Vice President level Cross Asset Futures & Options focused Sales Trader. This role is responsible for executing futures and options on behalf of Institutional Clients as well as providing strategic advisory and valued resources to drive incremental market share. The Sales Trader would also be responsible to grow Client self-execution opportunities and work with our Sales team to help grow Citi’s clearing footprint in addition to sales trading responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Market & Deliver Citigroup’s strong execution capabilities, contribute to team strategy and deliver a high level of customer service

• Develop new relationships, cement current relationships and identify existing opportunities

• Cross sell into Broader Clearing business as well as across Equities and Markets

• Ensure compliant with all relevant regulations and internal policy

• Lead strong governance and controls

• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure

• Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics

• Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation

• Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services

• Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you

• Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience for AVP level consideration; 6-10 years for VP level consideration

• Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships, from acquisition to ownership of prominent institutional accounts

• Knowledge of derivatives and Futures & Options trading, including different trading strategies and structures

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Proven negotiation and persuasion skills

• Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines.

Advertised salary range is for AVP level.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$60,800.00 - $263,760.00
